In case you missed the story on Action News last evening (7/16/2017), there was a story about a World War II Veteran who left Southern before he was able to graduate to fight in the war. Mr. Leuzzi received his Honorary Diploma from the Philadelphia School District eighty-one (81) years after his classmates graduated in June 1936. He is the oldest member of the SPHS 2017 graduating class.
