Robert Cerulli ’55

Rob is a national treasure who learned his craft from our beloved Dr. Jay Speck. Rob, taught music theory at Burlington Community College. His resume of composition and arrangement for Celebrations performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra, Hawaii Five-O, Lee Greenwald’s classic “God Bless the USA”, New York’s Orchestra and arrangements for the West Wing, put our honoree in high esteem. Mr. Cerulli was a member of the Warner Brothers Orchestra. 163 of over 300 of Rob’s sheet music orchestral arrangements and compositions are available on the internet via www.sheetmusicplus.com . While his music is used throughout the world, fame has never taken South Philly out of this guy. Rob’s expertise throughout the music industry was very much in demand. Rob was inducted into the SPHS Cultural Hall of Fame in 2007.
