Anthony DiPrimio ‘51

Anthony DiPrimio, PHD, is Dean of the School of Business Administration and Professor of Business and Finance at Holy Family College. He teaches a wide range of courses including Labor Law, Human resources Management m Organizational Behavior, Senior Seminar in Management and more recently had added courses in Investments, Portfolio Management, Risk Management and Derivatives. After South Philadelphia High School, Dr DiPrimio received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University, his master’s degree in applied economics and finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his Doctorate in Organizational Communications Management from Temple University. Prior to joining the faculty at Holy Family College he held senior executive positions with Levittown Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Fidelity Bank and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His work has been described in his book: Quality Assurance in Service Organizations, Clinton, 1997. His model for quality and productivity improvement in banking was adopted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and implemented in other Federal Reserve Banks. It also served as the model for Fidelity Bank. Dr. DiPrimio has been praised by the U.S. Treasury and former First Vice President of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank, Dr. Mark Willis.
